Careers
Channel Inside Sales Representative
The role
As Lumion grows its global commercial reach, our channel ecosystem will play an increasingly important role in how customers discover, evaluate, purchase, and adopt our products.
As a Channel Inside Sales Representative, you will be a core part of Lumion’s commercial engine, helping resellers, affiliates, and other commercial partners succeed across global markets. You will combine traditional inside-sales discipline with hands-on partner operations: engaging partners, progressing commercial opportunities, maintaining reliable partner and pipeline data, and helping ensure that the systems behind our channel and self-service business work smoothly.
This is a combined channel sales and partner-operations role. You will work directly with partners to create commercial momentum, while also ensuring that HubSpot, Lumion’s future Partner Relationship Management platform, and Merchant of Record processes support a clear, scalable, and high-quality partner and customer experience.
You will report to the Head of Sales and work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-to-mid-career commercial professional to take meaningful ownership in a growing international SaaS business.
Key Responsibilities
Grow and Support the Channel Ecosystem
Build productive working relationships with Lumion’s resellers, affiliates, and other commercial partners.
Act as a responsive day-to-day commercial contact for assigned partners, helping them progress opportunities and resolve routine sales-related questions.
Support partners with product information, sales materials, commercial updates, promotions, and agreed enablement activities.
Identify opportunities to improve partner engagement, activity, conversion, and commercial performance.
Maintain regular communication and follow-up cadences with partners, ensuring clear next steps and consistent momentum.
Gather partner feedback, recurring objections, and market insight, then share it constructively with the wider Lumion team.
Drive Channel Sales and Opportunity Progression
Respond promptly to channel-related inbound enquiries and commercial requests.
Support resellers and affiliates in identifying and progressing relevant customer opportunities.
Lead structured commercial conversations to understand opportunity context, customer needs, stakeholders, timing, and purchasing route.
Help partners navigate the appropriate buying journey, whether through the partner channel or Lumion’s self-service e-commerce experience.
Follow up consistently on open quotes, partner-led opportunities, trial users, promotions, and other high-intent commercial activity.
Contribute to a combination of agreed commercial measures, including channel revenue, partner-sourced pipeline, partner activation, engagement, conversion, and the quality of channel data and opportunity management.
Manage Partner Operations and Commercial Systems
Maintain accurate partner, account, contact, activity, and opportunity information in HubSpot.
Use HubSpot to manage commercial activity, partner communications, pipeline progression, reporting, and follow-up discipline.
Help establish and maintain effective processes in Lumion’s evolving Partner Relationship Management platform, supporting partner onboarding, communications, opportunity registration, deal tracking, content access, and reporting.
Contribute practical insight as Lumion evaluates, implements, and develops its PRM and Merchant of Record technology stack.
Ensure partner records, pipeline stages, commercial notes, and next steps are complete, reliable, and current.
Monitor channel activity and flag stalled opportunities, inactive partners, duplicate records, attribution issues, or other risks to commercial performance.
Help establish and improve the operating rhythm, processes, and data standards required to scale Lumion’s partner ecosystem.
Support Self-Service E-commerce
Work with Lumion’s evolving Merchant of Record and e-commerce stack to support a smooth self-service purchasing experience.
Bring relevant experience of Merchant of Record tools, platforms, or operating models in a SaaS or e-commerce environment.
Help ensure that reseller, affiliate, and direct self-service customer journeys are clear, consistent, and commercially well coordinated.
Support the resolution and routing of order, payment, subscription, invoicing, entitlement, and partner-attribution questions, working with the relevant internal teams and external providers.
Identify friction in the self-service purchasing journey and contribute practical recommendations to improve conversion and customer experience.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure channel activity and e-commerce operations are aligned.
Build Commercial Insight and Improve Performance
Track and report on partner engagement, partner activation, channel-sourced pipeline, revenue contribution, opportunity progression, conversion, and other agreed global channel metrics.
Use HubSpot, the evolving PRM environment, e-commerce data, and Merchant of Record data to identify trends, bottlenecks, attribution issues, and opportunities to improve partner and self-service performance.
Provide clear, timely updates on partner activity, pipeline health, risks, and commercial priorities.
Contribute to a high-performing commercial culture built on ownership, follow-through, accurate data, and continuous improvement.
Help shape a channel motion that is effective today and scalable as Lumion’s portfolio, market reach, and partner ecosystem grow.
What you bring
Channel and partner-sales experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in inside sales, channel sales, partner sales, business development, sales operations, partner operations, or a closely related commercial role.
Experience working with resellers, affiliates, distributors, referral partners, or other indirect sales channels.
An understanding of how partners create value in a sales motion—and how clear communication, follow-up, enablement, and operational discipline help them succeed.
The confidence to build productive relationships with partners while maintaining commercial focus and momentum.
SaaS or e-commerce fluency
Experience in a SaaS, subscription software, e-commerce, marketplace, or digital-product business is essential.
Familiarity with self-service customer journeys, subscription purchasing, digital transactions, and the commercial mechanics of online sales.
Experience with Merchant of Record platforms, partners, or processes in a SaaS or e-commerce context.
A practical understanding of how sales, e-commerce, payments, subscriptions, customer support, and partner attribution connect.
Systems and commercial discipline
Hands-on experience using HubSpot CRM to manage contacts, companies, activities, deals, pipeline stages, workflows, and reporting.
Experience with a Partner Relationship Management platform—or the ability and enthusiasm to quickly learn and help operationalise a new PRM environment.
Confidence in maintaining accurate commercial data, progressing opportunities, and managing a high volume of follow-up activity.
Comfort using modern sales and commercial tools, including email automation, reporting dashboards, call tools, and productivity platforms.
A structured, detail-oriented approach to managing opportunities, partner records, and commercial processes.
Communication and mindset
Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch and/or other European languages are advantageous.
Clear, confident, and professional communication across email, phone, video calls, and partner-facing meetings.
A proactive, organised, and commercially curious approach.
Strong ownership: you follow through, keep stakeholders informed, and solve problems rather than simply passing them on.
Comfort working in a scale-up environment where processes, systems, and ways of working are evolving—and where your practical input can make a material difference.
You'll thrive here if:
You enjoy working with partners across international markets and understand that strong channel performance depends on trust, responsiveness, clear communication, and consistent commercial follow-through.
You are equally comfortable speaking to a reseller about an opportunity and working in HubSpot to ensure the underlying data is accurate.
You see commercial operations as a source of competitive advantage: clean data, clear ownership, and a frictionless buying journey matter to you.
You are motivated by targets and outcomes, but you also care about building processes that make success repeatable and scalable.
You are comfortable operating across global markets, collaborating with colleagues and partners in different time zones, and adapting your communication to different commercial contexts.
You enjoy a dynamic scale-up environment, where not everything is fully defined and you can improve the way work gets done.
You are curious about SaaS, digital commerce, and the systems that sit behind a great customer and partner experience.
You want to help build a channel ecosystem that gives Lumion greater reach while creating real value for partners and customers.
