Inside Sales Visualization Consultant (North America)
The role
As Lumion expands its presence in North America, we are building a high-performing commercial team that can meet architects and designers where they are: in their workflows, their creative ambitions, and the real-world pressures of communicating design clearly.
As a Inside Sales Visualization Consultant, you will be a front-line member of Lumion’s commercial engine. You will engage inbound prospects and selected outbound audiences, uncover their needs, demonstrate how Lumion can transform their visualisation workflow, and guide them confidently through the buying journey.
This is a consultative sales role, not a scripted lead-processing role. You will speak daily with architects, designers, and visualisation professionals; translate product capabilities into relevant customer value; run compelling demonstrations; and create a smooth, thoughtful experience from first conversation through to the next commercial step.
You will work closely with the Head of Sales and collaborate across Marketing and Customer Success to build a qualified pipeline, improve conversion, and help Lumion grow in the North American market.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate Lumion’s Value
Run engaging, tailored demonstrations of the Lumion platform for architects, designers, and visualisation professionals.
Understand each prospect’s workflow, design goals, technical environment, and current visualisation challenges.
Show how Lumion helps customers communicate design intent—from clear conceptual views to high-detail, client-ready visuals that support faster understanding and project approval.
Confidently address questions about Lumion’s place within AEC workflows and its integration with leading BIM and design software.
Stay current on Lumion’s product portfolio, relevant AEC trends, and the impact of AI on design and visualisation workflows.
Qualify and Progress Opportunities
Respond promptly and thoughtfully to inbound enquiries, marketing-qualified leads, website forms, event leads, trial users, and other high-intent prospects.
Lead structured discovery conversations to understand customer needs, use cases, stakeholders, timing, budget, and purchasing process.
Assess fit and prioritise opportunities based on agreed qualification criteria.
Build trust with prospects through relevant, useful guidance—not generic product pitches.
Own clear next steps and maintain momentum across every active conversation.
Build Pipeline Through Outreach
Support targeted outbound activity across priority North American segments through email, phone, social outreach, and campaign follow-up.
Execute thoughtful outreach and follow-up cadences for warm leads, trial or freemium users, and relevant target accounts.
Collaborate closely with Marketing on campaign follow-through, lead-nurture programmes, messaging, and market feedback.
Share recurring customer questions, objections, and market insight with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
Maintain Commercial Discipline
Keep all prospect activity, account information, and opportunity stages accurate and up to date in the CRM.
Maintain a disciplined pipeline, with clear next steps, accurate qualification notes, and reliable follow-up.
Monitor conversion and engagement patterns, identify bottlenecks, and proactively surface opportunities to improve the sales process.
Contribute to a high-performing, collaborative sales culture built on learning, accountability, and customer value.
What you bring
Experience in the AEC industry—as an architect, designer, visualisation professional, or in a commercial role serving architecture, engineering, construction, or design customers.
Experience in inside sales, business development, sales development, customer-facing consulting, or sales support within software, technology, or a technically oriented business.
The ability to explain complex technology in a clear, practical, and compelling way to design professionals.
Strong discovery and listening skills: you are curious about how people work and can connect product capabilities to meaningful customer outcomes.
A track record of managing multiple opportunities, maintaining follow-up discipline, and moving conversations forward.
Comfort using CRM systems and modern sales tools, including email automation, call tracking, and prospecting platforms.
Excellent written and spoken English, with clear and confident communication across phone, video, email, and social channels.
A self-starting, organised, and collaborative approach. You take ownership, seek feedback, and enjoy learning quickly.
