Conversion Copywriter
The role
Can your words make people click?
Lumion is looking for a Conversion Copywriter. Someone who doesn’t just write, but drives action.
You’re part scientist, part storyteller, and deeply obsessed with why people say yes. You know how to stop the scroll, spark demand, and turn “maybe later” into “I need this now.”
This is a 1-year maternity cover, but don’t mistake it for a placeholder. We want a heavy-hitter: a persuasive, demand-gen copywriter who thrives on metrics, psychology, high-performing campaigns, and product messaging that makes people say yes.
This role is for you if:
You’re a true hidden persuader
You know the difference between writing about a product and writing to sell it.
You believe every word should earn its place.
PAS and AIDA aren’t buzzwords to you, they’re tools you use daily.
You’ve written conversion-led copy for B2B SaaS, tech, or e-commerce brands.
Bonus points if you know your way around the architecture, engineering, or construction (AEC) industry.
What you’ll do:
Get inside our customers’ heads
Run interviews, surveys, and mine data to uncover their real pain points, motivations, and decision-making triggers.
Translate customer insights into messaging that feels personal, relevant, and persuasive.
Build deep familiarity with customer language and buying psychology
Build persuasive experiences
Develop landing page wireframes, page structures, and content flows with conversion in mind.
Lead with strategy and evidence, not guesswork.
Shape messaging hierarchies across the funnel, from first touch to conversion
Write to convert
Craft bold, results-focused copy across high-impact channels, including:
Landing pages (e.g., trial sign-ups, demo requests, sales pages for Lumion software)
Email campaigns (sales sequences, nurture flows, product launches)
Paid media (Search and display ads across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit; a key focus area)
E-commerce flows (product descriptions, checkout experiences, and microcopy)
Test, learn, optimize
Launch copy experiments and A/B tests.
Track performance. Analyze what’s working. Improve what’s not.
Partner closely with the Demand Gen, Lifecycle Marketing, and GTM teams to bring the right message to the right audience at the right time.
What you bring
A portfolio of high-converting assets. Prove you have the background to come in quick, fast, and ready.
Sharp analytical instincts. You can explain what worked, why, and how to improve it.
Experience working closely with global marketing and sales teams to hit revenue goals.
The ability to write quickly, cleverly, and persuasively, with minimal fluff.
Strong conceptual skills and collaborative mindset.
Ability to develop savvy creatives with sharp, precise and compelling copy.
Confidence translating technical concepts into compelling, customer-centric narratives
Ability to build and maintain strong cross-departmental relationships.
