Lead UX/UI Designer
The role
We’re looking for a Lead UX/UI Designer to define and execute the design direction across our product line. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can balance strategic vision with executional excellence.
Reporting directly to the Head of Product, you'll lead the end-to-end design process—from concept to delivery—while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and marketing. You’ll have the autonomy to shape design decisions and take ownership of the user experience across platforms.
Key responsibilities
Own the design direction
Define the UX/UI strategy across products, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs.
Execute hands-on design work
Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals using Figma. Maintain and evolve design systems.
Collaborate cross-functionally
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and marketers to translate ideas into elegant, user-centric solutions.
Mentor and support designers
Provide guidance and feedback to junior designers, ensuring consistency and high standards across deliverables.
Champion the user
Lead and apply user research, feedback loops, and usability testing to inform design decisions. Advocate for accessibility and simplicity.
What you bring to the table
Experience:
8+ years of professional experience in product design with a focus on UI/UX.
At least 3 years in a senior or lead role, preferably managing or mentoring other designers.
Experience in the built environment or game development technology space is strongly preferred.
Skills:
Expertise with UI/UX design tools, for wireframing and interactive prototyping, including Figma and other general design tools, such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing complex, user-centric software products.
Excellent understanding of interaction design, visual design, and usability principles.
Knowledge of design systems and responsive design best practices.
Soft skills:
Proven ability to communicate design vision and decisions to stakeholders and team members.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly across disciplines.
Strong problem-solving skills and a growth-oriented attitude.
Bonus skills:
Familiarity with 3D visualization tools, CAD software, or similar technologies.
Experience conducting and applying user research methodologies.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and international design guidelines.
