Instantly connect your design to nature, create animations with people walking or the wind blowing through the trees, and express your unique vision for the design.
While landscape architecture covers a diverse range of project subject areas, from city parks and residential neighborhoods to university and corporate campuses and other built environments, projects within this field generally have one thing in common — they are all teeming with life.

Perhaps it’s the way the wind rustles the leaves in the botanical gardens you’ve designed, or how the mood of your project changes depending on the weather, the season or even the time of day. Landscape architecture is dynamic; it’s alive.
Including new OpenStreetMap satellite maps (Pro only), fine-detail nature models (Pro only), improved grass lighting, a metallic car shader (Pro only) and more, Lumion 11 guides the design and rendering process and lets you craft your vision of the project, down to the very last detail.

New feature: OSM satellite maps (Pro only)
Render an entire real-life city. The elevations of its terrain. And all the minor details that make up the landscape around it.
The OpenStreetMaps feature takes another leap forward in Lumion 11 Pro to include beautifully detailed satellite maps. With the new OSM satellite maps, the real-world terrain, rivers, farmland, and more are all available, from all over the world, in just a click as you download the OpenStreetMap for your building location.
New feature: Improved grass lighting
You take off your shoes and almost feel the wet grass between your bare toes, the individual blades tickling the bottoms of your feet. In Lumion 11, the improved grass lighting technology helps connect your building design to the earth where it stands, turning the visual thrill of your renderings into a sensory one.
New feature: Metallic car shader (Pro only)
With the new metallic car shader in Lumion 11 Pro, the cars in your renders take on an impressive realistic quality, making them barely distinguishable from the real thing.
Every element, every light throughout your render, reflects off the car’s chassis and windows, instantly and organically integrating the car into the project’s surroundings.
New fine-detail nature models (some Pro only)
Rendering life into your project means more than showing the elements of the design and surrounding context. It means revealing a residential neighborhood design in a wild forest of ginkgo balboas or Canadian poplars. It means communicating a public space’s potential when planted with mulberry or maidenhair trees.
When you need to go beyond photorealism and ignite the emotion in your designs, the Lumion 11 content library makes it easy to craft the unique environment of the project’s real-life setting.

Lumion 11 Pro includes 27 new fine-detail nature plants and 34 fine-detail nature trees, including highly realistic ferns, maples, pines, orchids and many others. You can also find 65 new weed varieties, with clovers, dandelions, nettles and broadleaf plantains.
In total, the Lumion 11 Pro content library contains 6,224 models, including thousands of nature items that range from conifers and palms to flowers, plants, grasses, leafless trees, pieces of forest wood and more. The content library also includes animated and static 3D men, women, children and pets, as well as outdoors furniture, cars and transport models, lighting objects, volumetric fire and other models to easily build urban and rural contexts.
Keep in mind that Lumion contains about one-third of the total library content, while Lumion Pro contains the full library. Numbers quoted are for Lumion Pro.
