Axogram by Lumion
A new way to show how and why your architecture works. Create architectural diagrams that stay connected to your CAD or BIM model.

Creating architectural diagrams often meant leaving your 3D model behind: exporting a fixed view, opening graphics software, and recreating the diagram every time the project changed.
Axogram brings diagramming into your live CAD or BIM workflow, so your visuals stay connected to your model as it evolves. Create in real time, explore different viewpoints, and produce polished diagram views with less time spent exporting and rebuilding. It's a new way to explore ideas and make the thinking behind your design visible.

From a simple diagram of your central idea to a detailed explanation of how your project works, make your thinking easy to follow.
Show how a design develops step by step.
Reveal how the project responds to its site and wider surroundings.

Show how spaces, levels, structures, and activities relate inside the building.
Trace how people, vehicles, and services move through and around the project.
Axogram is free to use with up to 5 saved diagram views.

1 and 3-Year Plans
Create unlimited diagrams in up to 4K that stay connected to your 3D model.
Explain every facet of your design.
Create, duplicate, organize, and revisit multiple diagrams within the same project. Give each explanation its own viewpoint, style, annotations, and environment settings without managing a collection of disconnected files.
Transform the scene using 8 architectural styles including Blueprint, Clay, Dual Tone, Ink, Polar, Realistic, Soft Vibe, and Wood.
Use Style Mixer to apply different styles to material groups, bringing key elements forward while simplifying the surroundings. Your original geometry and materials stay intact.
Draw movement in 3D
Use Action Shapes to draw arrows and paths that turn corners or travel between levels. Use arrows, paths, flow lines, and zones to communicate circulation, access, phasing, transformations, and spatial relationships. Change the viewpoint and your shapes remain part of the scene.
Keep the meaning in place
Add labels, markers, icons, and anchored annotations directly around the model. Anchor points remain positioned in 3D while labels stay readable as the camera moves. Control typography, color, and graphics to create a visual language suited to the project.
Show how spaces connect
Define zones, highlight areas by function, or show how public and private spaces relate. Your zones remain part of the scene, ready to explore from another angle.
Let light clarify the form
Adjust sunlight, shadows, backgrounds, exposure, and atmosphere in real time. Strengthen form, improve readability, and create the right visual focus for each diagram.
Create high-quality diagram output for presentations and documentation, including 4K images and transparent PNGs, and publish them directly to Lumion Cloud.
Bring your diagrams together with the rest of your project visuals. Refine, enhance, and upscale images using Lumion Cloud’s AI editing & post-processing tools.
Then share your creations with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Gather feedback in context, compare versions, and keep the conversation moving toward approval.

Lumion Cloud AI and collaboration tools are included in every Axogram plan.
Communicate intent, movement, context, spatial relationships, and the reasoning behind key decisions.
Create and refine every element directly around your model with immediate visual feedback.
Keep arrows, annotations, and graphical elements connected as you explore different perspectives.
Reduce the need for static exports, disconnected files, tool switching, and repeated post-processing work.

Lumion Axogram is a live architectural diagramming tool. It lets you create, organize, and refine 3D diagrams directly around your model, without relying on static exports or disconnected graphics workflows.
Axogram is available for SketchUp, Revit, and Archicad on Windows. SketchUp for macOS is coming soon. Check the system requirements and availability information for supported application versions.
You can create a range of diagrams with Axogram to strengthen your architectural presentations. Build basic, sequence, context, section, presentation, and circulation diagrams directly around your 3D model. Use them to explain ideas such as spatial relationships, movement, project context, construction sequences, internal organization, and the thinking behind key decisions.
Axogram brings diagramming into your live 3D workflow. Instead of exporting a fixed view and reconstructing it in multiple graphics tools, you can add diagrammatic elements around the model, explore different viewpoints, and continue refining the explanation as the project develops.
No. Axogram provides a non-destructive workflow. You can apply conceptual styles, visual treatments, arrows, labels, and other diagrammatic elements without duplicating, exploding, or permanently changing your original geometry and materials.
Axogram’s diagrammatic elements are authored in the 3D environment. Arrows and paths retain their spatial relationship with the model, while smart labels combine a 3D anchor point with information that remains readable in 2D. This lets you explore different viewpoints without reconstructing every element.
Yes. Diagram Deck lets you create, duplicate, organize, and revisit multiple diagrams within one project. You can maintain different explanations for different concepts, stages, and audiences without treating every diagram as an isolated image.
Axogram and Lumion Pro serve different purposes.
Axogram is a dedicated architectural diagramming tool. It lets you use styles, arrows, labels, zones, and other diagrammatic elements to explain how a project works and why particular decisions were made.
Lumion Pro is an architectural visualization tool for creating rendered images, animations, and immersive experiences that show how a project will look and feel.
You do not need Lumion Pro to use Axogram. Axogram is available as a free plan and also sold separately. With Axogram, you also get access to Lumion Cloud AI and collaboration tools.
