At Act-3D, we take user protection and privacy very seriously, and we’d never ask for information unless we were certain that it would help improve Lumion.

Through the ‘Customer Experience Improvement Program’, we hope to gain valuable insight into Lumion usage, interactivity and issues common among users. Therefore, we want to make sure that you understand what this program means, how we collect and use this data, and how we have taken steps to protect your privacy.

By collecting data on Lumion usage, we hope to gain insights into how we can improve Lumion based on actual user experiences. All data is anonymous, and we’ve put in a comprehensive ‘anonymizer’ system that makes it nearly impossible to connect the data we’ve collected to you. The end result is a better Lumion without putting your personal data at risk.

Steps taken to protect your privacy

Your privacy is super important to us. Here’s how we’ll protect it: First of all, the data collected from your version of Lumion is stored on our secure servers at Act-3D, and none of this information is “personally identifiable.” We do not ask, nor do we want, information that could be used to identify you as a person or to identify your IP address.

Secondly, ALL DATA IS ANONYMIZED. The moment that usage data enters our servers, we automatically anonymize the data and de-couple it from anything that can be traced back to your computer or you as a person. And even though the data is anonymized, this information may not be used or disclosed improperly, and it cannot be used by individuals not authorized to do so. In other words, we will never, ever sell this anonymous data.
