Second Life Competition

1. Organizer

• The "Second Life" competition ("Competition") is organized by Act-3D B.V., the developers of Lumion ("Organizer").

2. Eligibility

• The Competition is open to anyone with a Lumion Account.

• Each participant may submit only one entry per Lumion Account.

• Employees of Act-3D B.V. and Lumion team members are not eligible to participate.

3. Competition Theme & Submission Requirements

• Participants will receive a render of an old building.

• The task is to reimagine the building as a new concept using Lumion Cloud AI Enhancer.

• Along with the enhanced image, you must also submit a 50-100 word project outline saved in the image description inside Lumion Cloud. The outline should include:

  • What the building has become

  • The idea behind the transformation

  • Why this new use gives the building a meaningful second life

• Submissions must be uploaded as a Lumion Cloud share link (access set to Anyone with the link) via the designated form

• Failure to follow submission guidelines may lead to disqualification.

4. Competition Rules

• Allowed: Use the Lumion Cloud AI Enhancer in any way you want to reimagine the old building. You are may change the shape of the building and surroundings.

• Not allowed: submitting more than one entry per person, submitting copyrighted or trademarked content, or using other AI enhancement tools/external post-processing software.

5. Submission Deadline & Judging

• The competition closes on November 12, 2026, 23:59 GMT.

• Winners will be announced on November 26, 2026, in the News, blogs & articles section of the Lumion Community Forum and via direct messages. Winners will be publicly announced on social media upon their consent.

• The judging panel will consist of Lumion team members.

• All decisions made by the judges are final and non-contestable.

6. Prizes

First Place:

• A free 3-Year Lumion Pro Floating license (1 Seat)

• Social media exposure

• Custom forum title

Second Place:

• A free 1-Year Lumion Pro Floating license (1 Seat)

• Social media exposure

• Custom forum title

Third Place:

• A free 1-Year Lumion Pro license (1 Seat)

• Social media exposure

• Custom forum title

Honorable Mentions (3 winners):

• A free 1-Year Axogram license

7. Use of Submitted Content

• By participating, entrants agree that:

  • Act-3D B.V. may use, modify, edit, optimize, or adapt the submitted Lumion projects for marketing, educational, tutorial, and promotional purposes.

  • The Organizer may distribute rendered outputs on its website, social media, tutorials, and printed/digital materials.

  • Entrants must be the rightful owners or authorized representatives of all submitted designs, 3D models, and scene content.

  • The rendered outputs can be used on the Lumion website, in printed or online magazines, on social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, and in printed brochures, banners, or tutorial videos demonstrating Lumion functionality.

  • Act-3D B.V. collaborates with selected designers and architects to showcase high-quality, original 3D models in its marketing materials. The goal is to highlight both Lumion and architectural designs in a positive manner. Before use, permission must be obtained from the creators of the architectural designs and the owners of the 3D models.

• Proceeding with submission constitutes agreement to these terms.

8. Liability & Disqualification

• The Organizer is not responsible for technical issues, submission failures, or unauthorized third-party use of submitted files.

• Failure to comply with these terms may result in disqualification.

10. Final Provisions

• The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions if necessary.

• Participation in the Competition constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
