The requests that come after the render
Once a render is in front of people, the requests start coming in. Someone asks what the building looks like at dusk. The landscaping feels thin. The materials could be warmer. None of it is a modelling problem, but answering it usually means going back to Lumion Pro for another render, or exporting the image to a separate AI tool and hoping the architecture comes back the way you left it.
The AI Enhancer brings that work into Lumion Cloud, in the same project where your visuals are already being shared, reviewed and approved.
Where the time actually goes
Most of the effort at the end of a project has little to do with rendering. It goes into preparing images for the people who have to approve them. A tighter crop here, a warmer image there, one more version because the client wants to see the evening light.
Handled outside your visualization workflow, those small requests turn into production work. Files scatter across tools, iterations lose their connection to the feedback that prompted them, and generic AI tools introduce a new risk: results that quietly redraw the design you spent weeks getting right.
What the AI Enhancer does
The AI Enhancer uses generative AI to refine architectural visuals directly in your browser. Upload a render or open an image already stored in Lumion Cloud, choose an AI model, then decide how you want the image enhanced.
It is built for the moments after rendering. Applying a final layer of polish, exploring an alternative visual direction, or correcting a detail you only noticed once the image was finished, all without producing a new render.
Two ways to work
Once you've picked a model, you choose how much of the direction you want to give:
Guided Mode hands you a set of controls and handles the rest.
Expert Mode lets you write the instructions yourself.
Most work starts in Guided Mode, because the controls cover the requests that come up most often in review.

Lock what matters
Element Preservation gives you control over the parts of your design you want to keep intact.
Select the elements you want to preserve: buildings, people, vegetation, water, cars, furniture and wood. That means you can experiment with mood and atmosphere while the design itself stays exactly as you intended.
Compare the result with the original, then download it, save it to any project, or store it as a version or variation.
AI Enhancer Guided Mode
Morning to night, without re-rendering
Time of Day sits alongside Element Preservation in Guided Mode. Enable it and a single slider generates the same view at morning, noon, afternoon, dusk or night.
Lighting questions tend to come up in the review itself. Now you can answer them in the review, rather than scheduling another render and another meeting.
AI Enhancer Expert Mode
Get the look you want
When the guided controls do not go far enough, Expert Mode lets you write your own instructions. Direct materials and surface detail, weather and atmosphere, vegetation and scene elements, or an overall presentation style from abstract to hyper realistic.
A prompt works best when it tells the model what to protect as well as what to improve. A useful structure is:
name the elements that must stay
describe the materials, lighting or atmosphere you want refined
add anything the scene is missing
state what to avoid changing
Studios use this to recreate a signature look across projects.
Compare before you commit
Every enhancement is shown next to the original. Drag the divider across the image, switch between horizontal and vertical comparison, zoom in on a detail, or open the result full screen. You decide whether the enhanced version communicates the design better, and you decide it while looking at both.
Every result stays in the project
Enhanced images save back into Lumion Cloud as a new version or variation, so alternatives stay organised under the project they belong to, alongside the comments, markups and approvals attached to them.
Nothing has to be exported, renamed, re-uploaded or explained in an email thread. The iteration history from first review to approved visual stays in one place.
How to run your first enhancement
Open an image from a Project or Renders folder, or upload a JPG or PNG directly to the AI Enhancer.
Select AI Edits, then choose Enhance.
Pick an AI model and check the image compatibility, then choose Guided Mode or Expert Mode.
Compare the result with the original and save it as a version or variation.
