Show off your creativity
Enter the Render in Style competition and use Lumion’s effect stack to transform a provided project scene into a unique visual statement.
The top three winners will have their unique styles integrated into the upcoming Lumion 2025 and receive a free Lumion Pro Subscription. Open to all users of Lumion 11 and above, including students and trial users.
Submit your entry by April 16, 2025, for a chance to get your work featured. Winners will be announced on May 3, 2025 on the Lumion Community.
How it works
Easy! Simply follow these steps:
Download the project files – We’ve prepared a scene with three stored photos and a few clips that you can download here. No effects applied—just a blank canvas ready for you to experiment and create a unique style.
Get creative – Apply Lumion’s effect stack to all three photos and at least one video clip. Develop a unique, recognizable look that sets your work apart.
Submit your work – Send us your Lumion project file (.LS), rendered images and clips, and a short description explaining your artistic intent. Use the form below and make sure to follow the submission guidelines.
Win and get featured – The top three winners will have their styles included in the upcoming version, Lumion 2025, along with a free Lumion Pro subscription!

Get creative
This is your chance to shine and have your work featured in the upcoming Lumion 2025 release! Combine different Lumion effects to create a unique style. Artistic, conceptual, or realistic - it's all up to you!
Entries will be evaluated based on creativity, originality, and effective use of Lumion’s features:
Versatility – Can the style adapt to different project types, scales, and scenarios?
Quality – Does the style produce high-quality, professional, and visually compelling renders?
Originality – Is the style unique and creative? Does it bring something fresh to the Lumion community?

Edit materials and add or replace objects within the project
Submit one entry per license

Change the camera angle of the photos or the clip
Remove any objects or materials from the project
Add imported models or external data

Submit your work
Use this form to share your project for a chance to win a free Lumion Pro license. Make sure your submission includes a downloadable link to a .ZIP file with:
The project scene file (.LS)
3 rendered photos (.JPG or .PNG)
Minimum 1 video clip (.MP4)
A short description of the submission and what your style intends to achieve (.PDF, .DOC, .TXT)

We’re thrilled to have Nuno Silva, an expert in visualization, helping us judge the competition. With years of experience in architectural rendering, Nuno will be looking for originality, creativity, and impactful use of Lumion’s effects.
FAQs
The competition is open to all users of Lumion 11 and newer, including students and free trial users. All you need is a valid Lumion License Key to be eligible.
If you don't have Lumion yet, but want to enter the competition, you can easily request a free 14-day trial.
If you're in need of assistance or simply have a question, you can always check the Lumion Community forum or contact our Support team directly.
To make sure your submission is valid, please follow the guidelines and file naming conventions below:
The Lumion project file (.LS): last name_first name_Stylename
Three rendered images (.JPG or .PNG): last name_first name_Stylename
At least one rendered video clip (.MP4): last name_first name_Stylename
A short description of the creative intent (.PDF, .DOC, .DOCX, or .TXT): last name_first name_description
All files must be zipped and uploaded as a downloadable link: last name_first name_Render in Style
Important: Please use the correct file names—submissions that don’t follow the naming rules won’t be accepted.
To enter the competition and submit your project, fill in the form on this page. You'll need to enter your contact information and share a link to a downloadable zipped file that contains the required file. Use a trusted file transfer provider like GDrive, OneDrive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or Pcloud and set the correct permissions so that the file can be downloaded.
A judging panel consisting of Lumion team members and Lumion expert Nuno Silva will review entries based on creativity, originality, and effective use of Lumion’s features.
The judging criteria are:
Versatility – Can the style adapt to different project types, scales, and scenarios?
Quality – Does the style produce high-quality, professional, and visually compelling renders?
Originality – Is the style unique and creative? Does it bring something fresh to the Lumion community?
The competition closes on April 16, 2025, and results will be announced on May 3, 2025, via the Lumion Forum, direct messages to winners, and social media (with participant consent).
