Lumion Pro is compatible with all major CAD software.
To receive your free Student license you'll need to confirm your identity and student status. You can easily renew it each year for as long as you’re studying.

Lumion Student is available for students enrolled at universities, colleges, and other higher learning institutions. We use SheerID to confirm your identity and student status. During the application process, you may be asked to provide additional information such as proof of enrollment.
Lumion Pro requires an up-to-date Windows 10 64-bit computer (or newer) with a fast graphics card, ample memory, and a stable internet connection. Make sure to check the system requirements.

Lumion Pro is not yet officially supported on Mac computers. We strongly advise running Lumion Pro on Windows PCs as they typically can be configured with more powerful hardware than Macs, which is needed for rendering faster and more efficiently. Lumion Pro is compatible with all major CAD and 3D modeling software.
Plus, with the free Lumion LiveSync plugin, you can easily create a real-time connection with your favorite CAD software to model and render at the same time. Whenever you make changes to your 3D model, they will seamlessly be reflected in Lumion.
Lumion LiveSync works with SketchUp, Revit, Archicad, Rhino, AutoCAD, Allplan, BricsCAD, Vectorworks, and more.
Lumion Student is free for the entire duration of your studies.
When you request a free Student license, the license is valid for 1 full year. You can easily reapply for a free Student license as long as you're still enrolled as a student.
Student licenses are for individual use only, which means it's not possible to request more than one license at a given time.
If you're an educator or faculty member, you may be able to request a free 3-year Faculty license instead. Please check this page for more information.
The free Lumion Student version is only for educational use and cannot be used with commercial or trial versions of the software. This means you cannot open projects from Lumion Student in other versions, or vice versa.
You can install Lumion Student on multiple computers. To access the software, you'll need to log in with your Lumion Account credentials. You can only be logged in on one device at a time.
