The brief
A developer has saved an old building from demolition, on condition that someone proposes a new use for it. Starting from a single photo, reimagine it with the AI Enhancer in Lumion Cloud. It could become apartments, a university, a hotel, a concert hall, or something nobody else thinks of. You can change its shape and surroundings as well as its use. Then write a project concept of 50 to 100 words explaining what the building has become and why the new use earns it a second life.

How to enter

You need a free Lumion account. Create one here if you don't have one yet. Entry is free, with one entry per person.
Simply follow these steps:
Download the reference image below – We’ve prepared an image with the original building for you to use as the starting point.
Get creative – Upload the image to the AI Enhancer in Lumion Cloud and choose a model. Flux makes bigger changes, and ChatGPT stays closer to the original image. Select Expert Mode, write your prompt (up to 6,000 characters), and click Enhance.
Save it and add your concept – Click Save Copy To and choose a folder. Open the saved image and add your project concept as the description on the Details tab (max. 100 words). Make sure to include the idea behind the transformation and why this new use gives the building a meaningful second life.
Share and submit – Click Share Render (top right), set access to Anyone with the link, and copy the link. Paste it into the form below. If access isn’t set to Anyone with the link, the jury can’t open your entry.

FAQs
Anyone can participate for free, with one entry per person. All you need is a Lumion Account to get started.
Allowed: Use the Lumion Cloud AI Enhancer in any way you want to reimagine the old building. You are may change the shape of the building and surroundings.
Not allowed: submitting more than one entry per person, submitting copyrighted or trademarked content, or using other AI enhancement tools/external post-processing software.
A project outline of 50-100 words is required for the submission to be eligible. The outline should include:
What the building has become
The idea behind the transformation
Why this new use gives the building a meaningful second life
Please save this outline in the image description inside Lumion Cloud.
Once your project is complete in Lumion Cloud, share the project link by filling out this form.
Note: Make sure you set access to "Anyone with a link" when copying the share link from Lumion Cloud. Otherwise we won't be able to see your submission.
A judging panel consisting of Lumion team members will review entries based on creativity, originality, and effective use of the AI Enhancer.
The judging criteria (scored 1 to 5) are:
Design & Creativity: originality and appeal of the transformation, design direction, materials, environment, mood.
Vision & Storytelling: how clearly your story conveys the building's new purpose and makes its future believable.
Execution & Visual Impact: how well your vision came through in the final image, prompting skill, coherence, realism, overall impact.
The competition closes on November 12th, 2026, 23:59 CET and results will be announced on November 26h 2026, via the Lumion Forum, direct messages to winners, and social media (with participant consent).
